最近腦中，常常浮起這首歌的旋律，光從旋律不考慮歌詞，給我的感覺，有一種陽光、正面、像是要進行某種行動的感覺。
後來在網上查了一下資料，他們封面的圖，是採用電影"揮灑烈愛"主角，也就是畫家Frida Kahlo的同名畫作"Viva La Vida"。
Viva La Vida 原來是西班牙文，有人翻成"Ya 萬歲"、"活在當下"、"生命萬歲"，然後看了歌詞的翻譯，像是一個王朝的興衰，也是 一個國王或皇帝，統稱統治者，那種孤家寡人的心境描述，古代的君王，通常是藉由革命或世襲產生，負責統治一個王朝，君王的話，就代表 一切，所以有"伴君如伴虎"之稱，身邊的人，萬一說話說得不好，是有可能掉腦袋的；然而一個君王，也不是那麼容易當的，除了民生、經濟 要顧之外，還有皇室內的鬥爭和外來的侵犯，所謂"內憂外患"，而一個王朝，大部分也都歷經，打下江山->盛世->衰落而被推翻的過程。
